Hi. I'd like to be able to tap on a card and zoom in on it/enlarge it so I can explore the artwork in more detail.

Ready for release as part of 1.60 on iOS. Will be another phased release, but I think for iOS you should be able to download the newest manually after 24 hours or so. I probably won't pull the trigger until tomorrow when my anxiety is hopefully a little less!
In the card info modal, you just need to tap the card to zoom in.
Android is on delay for a bunch of reasons.
