Widgets That Show Daily Reading

Having Widgets That Show Your Daily Reading would be incredible! (So long as it supports both 1 and 3 card reading)

Leaving some comments in the bigger threads so folks know -- I'm moving this board to Frill. It allows anonymous upvotes and easier account creation, which should allow more folks to create these feedback tickets.
I haven't been happy with the clunky account creation here for a while, it feels like a big blocker to me. Frill is also way nicer to manage on the admin side.
All suggestions have been migrated, but comments have not.
Hope to see you all there:

AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH ITS HAPPENING
But I also have to ask permission from Lo Scarabeo as part of our contract so may not be available to all decks.
Question for you all - do you like having the little advice thing, or would you prefer keywords?
Paula
Tina G.Would that be for Apple users only, and paid decks, or Android and standard decks as well? If I were able to use it, I would rather keywords. (Android user).

Paula: Unfortunately the plugin I'm using only supports iOS 😣 I don't have the expertise to build that data bridge myself. If they ever come up with an android one, I'd for sure build an android widget too. It's going to be a free upgrade, available for sure for all Labyrinthos decks, but I need to ask for permission for paid decks.

Exciting news!
Okay, so I've been re-investigating some of our most popular requests, and have found a plugin at least for apple that sends data from our hybrid app to a native iOS widget. I've tested it out, and it seems to work!
As of now, I cannot find an android equivalent, but if that is built in the future, I can consider it for sure.
Also...I have never coded in swift before, so I'm having a lot of trouble there, but building a very simple widget is probably a good place to start...? Consider this an experimental feature.
Because I'm a newbie, I'm going to restrict this in scope for now to the medium size iOS widget because I know I'll be able to fit a single card daily reading, a 3 card daily reading, and a push for folks to draw your daily card.
I'm going to move this feature at least for iOS users to under review again.

It would be nice to have a widget to go with the app; per haps for daily readings?

Apple Watch widget
Claudia Ng
Widget for Apple Watch where users can see the moon phases as well as a daily tarot based on the Labyrinthos app. It would be nice to keep Labyrinthos those close as a constant reminder that the stars are aligning for those who are more intuitive to the astrology of tarot. Thank you ❤️

Just a heads up that this is unfortunately not possible. Widgets for both android and iOS require native code in either Java (I think, in the case of android) or swift -- both are languages that I don't code in. I currently build the app in a framework that is not native.
Long story short, if I wanted to do widgets, I'd have to rebuild both android and iOS apps from scratch in languages that I don't know.
Really sucks, because I agree I would enjoy this for myself as well.
