Sync data doesn't work.

I have the app opened with my account in three devices and only one shows my data. My avatar progress is Strength but I can only choose Fool or Magician. If I make further progress and then I log out, I'm back at the beginning, even though I keep pressing "Sync data". Please tell me how to get my actual progress back!

Paula, I believe you may not be logged into your account on one of your devices. This screen makes it pretty obvious because you are called "New Student", which is the default name for if it doesn't exist. If you're logged in, there's also an email right under "Level 1 Fool", and now it's blank.
I discovered some folks were avoiding the login process by pressing the back button on their android devices. Sometimes they logged out, and then pressed the back button. This was never meant to happen. Some folks did this because they didn't want to create an account, but the side effect is that this "ghost" version of the app will not save your information on the cloud. Android also occasionally deletes app data, and developers cannot control this.
You may have never created an account or logged out and pressed the back button a long time ago without realizing it.
This vulnerability is patched on android devices now, but it means nobody will be able to access the app without logging in.

In testing phases of development, nobody pressed the back button on the login screen, and so this was never an issue that came up before releasing. Please create an account so this doesn't happen -- I know this must be disappointing to hear.

Tina G.: I have created an account from the beginning. You can see it here. This is from my tablet. In my mobile devices the further progress is Magician. I've logged out and in again to no avail. Please give me instructions on how to get my level back on my mobile devices. Thank you.

Paula: Are all your journal entries there in all versions? Or is it just the level and avatars that are missing?

Tina G.: I've logged out and in again in my tablet (my only device that showed my progress) and now I've lost it. A journal entry from yesterday is still there. I also tried uninstalling and installing again but nothing doing.

Tina G.: I've just found out that if i sync data with the app that has the most advanced progress and then open the other two and press sync data again, i get the progress updated. It requires to close the app and reopen it for it to show it though, but the three devices are showing the same avatar and journals too. My old progress is lost, but I'm doing the lessons again and now i got as far as The Emperor. I hope I won't lose it when I must log out! Thanks for trying to help me!
