I would love to be able to favorite specific spreads and be able to access them in the categories tabs where custom, general, spiritual, etc. are located. Hopefully at the front

I would like to be able to reorder the custom spreads list so that I can have different groups and move more frequently used ones to the top instead of them being stuck with the order I created them in.

Favorites are being implemented. See screenshots. Setting up categories for custom spreads is more complicated and would take a lot more time. I suggest breaking the categorization into another request.

I'm planning instead to have the option to favorite spreads next round. See screenshot. You can favorite custom ones too of course. Max of 10 can be favorited.
